Possibly the most powerful on screen presence conducted entirely without saying a word. Richard Brake’s performance as the Night King in Game of Thrones was haunting. Making his first appearance in series four of the award winning TV show and leaving his mark all the way through to the final series. With thanks to the makeup and computer artists, Brake became unrecognisable as a person but one of the most harrowing villains we’ve ever seen.
