Grandpa Eats Paint Thinking it is Yoghurt

Bit of a bizarre one this: 90 year old Bobby Stein from New York ended up drinking half a can of paint, and remains “unfazed”. The grandfather has emerged from this with no side effects, after an ordeal that would leave the average person feeling a little smothered. See how somebody’s grandpa eats paint and lives to tell the tale.

Grandpa Eats Paint

The story was broken by granddaughter Alex, recounting her papa’s love for yogurt.

The near-centenarian mistook a can of mint green paint for his beloved dessert and downed half of it, without a spoon. Upon discovering the half-empty paint tin and its green traces on her grandfather’s mouth, she did what any young woman would do-post it on Twitter!

Before enlisting any emergency help of any kind to her elderly relative who just ingested paint, the New Yorker posted a photo of the yogurt-lover captioned “Sooo my grandpa ate half a quart of paint today thinking it was yogurt.” and even told MailOnline “When I say he loves yogurt, he LIVES for yogurt. My mum buys at least 7 quarts of vanilla Danon yogurt a week”

Well that makes it all better than I guess?

The painting enthusiast added “My grandpa has always loved entertaining people. He doesn’t care whether people are laughing with him or at him”- or whether he could poison himself apparently.

In the midst of all the emulsion, Bob told his perspective via Instagram, writing “Apparently I ate paint this morning…s**t honestly tastes better than yogurt sooo #no #regrets (poison control laughed at me, but they said I’ll be fine).”

I’m not sure which I find more shocking; the fact that he thought yoghurt came in large metal cans with a VOC odour, or that a 90 year old is using Instagram.
