So is this the world’s biggest hula hoop?
There’s only one way to find out! We went over to the Guinness World Records website to see what they have to say:
“The largest hula hoop measures 5.14 metres in diameter. Yuya Yamada broke the record in Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan, on 9 November 2017.
Yuya spun the hula hoop six consecutive times. The outer circumference of the hula hoop measured 16.17 m (53 ft 0.7 in).”
Unfortunately with very little to go on from the video source we are unable to tell if this is an attempt at smashing the record. Either way we’re impressed!
